The Glock 45 9mm is one of Glocks latest innovations that are hot on the market. I know I am late to the party of reviews and talking about it but I had to wait to get my hands on one and do what I wanted to do with it before I could write about it. I was able to purchase a Glock 45 MOS, since purchasing the firearm I have added some Tru-Glow Night sights, and a Streamlight TLR-1HL to it and man it shoots well.
First after I purchased the Glock 45, I ordered some night sights right behind it, I also ordered the Streamlight TLR-1HL and another 17 round mag. I ended up ordering them on black friday weekend from Botach.com for both was around $154 the night sights were $50.00. I was unable to get the 45 in any kind of discount at the time of purchase due to the demand in my area.
With the Glock 45 I have noticed the small but overall good upgrades that have done to the design, the beveled mag well and the front of the slide at the muzzle is also changed a bit to make reholstering easier. I find these small design changes improvments over previous generations. I can also attest that the trigger has changed somehow. I feel like its a more crisp trigger but still in the 5.5lbs pull. The reset on the trigger is very audible and you can also feel it.
I love the size of this gun and the compacity that is offers since its a 19 slide on a 17 frame the size for me just works and makes it easy for me to shoot at the range.
